Willach - Speaking to Australian community pharmacy
Willach make automated dispensing machines for pharmacy – “robots”, if you like, for taking the manual work out of dispensing medicines.
They are a German company and they recently worked with Palin Communications to set up their first head office in
Australia and launch their “Consis” system to Australian pharmacies.
To their credit, they understood the need to lay a solid foundation with pharmacy for a long term local future.
So it was clearly going to require a bit more than a quick media release to the pharmacy journals and hope for the best.
Following an initial media release and national fax out to pharmacies, they made a major impact at the Guild-run APP Conference 2007 on the Gold Coast. The conference acted as a natural backdrop for a series of meetings with the key players from the pharmacy journals, the Pharmacy Guild and Pharmaceutical Society.

They have supported this activity with additional meetings and media releases around pharmacy conferences (like the ACPPM conference) and the recent launch of an advertising program in the pharmacy journals. ?xml:namespace>
