This year, 44 little graduates from The Shepherd Centre – leading charity for hearing impaired children – recently started Kindergarten at ‘big schools’ across NSW, ACT and Tasmania.

Following years of intensive early intervention therapy at The Shepherd Centre, these children have hit the ground running at mainstream primary schools. The vast majority of their speech and language skills are on par with, and sometimes better than, their hearing classmates.

Palin Communications worked with long-term client The Shepherd Centre to trigger positive media coverage highlighting this milestone.

The campaign resulted in a wide range of earned editorial – including stories via Channel 7’s Sunrise and ABC News Weekend Breakfast. The campaign provided over 1.3 million opportunities to see key messages about the outcomes possible for children with early intervention therapy.
