Palin Communications, Bristol-Myers Squibb Australia and Biointelect have joined forces to take out a top gong at the 15th Prime Awards, securing Best Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign for the ‘Broadening the Evidence’ project.

The project involved collaborating with over 30 patient advocacy groups and government stakeholders to push for Australian patients to be included in decisions about the reimbursement of medicines.

Palin Communications handled the PR dimension to the campaign.

The judges commented that the campaign was “A proactive approach to shaping debate around the role of patients in decisions about medicine reimbursement.”

It was a great team effort and we loved working with our partners at BMS and Biointelect on this. The initiative is already driving tangible improvements in the extent to which patients are given a voice in decisions about access to medicines in Australia.
