Thirty years of paediatric liver transplants celebrated at Liver Kids Australia Conference

Top specialists and transplant recipients celebrated thirty years of Australian paediatric liver transplants at the inaugural Liver Kids Australia Conference and Family Day.

The conference, held at the Taronga Centre on Saturday 9 July 2016, was hosted by Palin Communcations client Liver Kids Australia. It was the first event of its kind in the country. 

The conference marks a major step towards building a national peer support network for those whose lives have been impacted by childhood liver disease and liver transplant. Approximately 1 in 10,000 Australian children are born with a liver disease each year.
