Global program for local health benefits

Sherry Tsai, Taiwan Trade Centre, Sydney; Dr Criado-Perez, UNSW Business Insights Institute; Diana Chung, Acer; Jun Choe, Acer; Mr Cheng-Wei Wu, Director-General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Sydney; David Leal, Delta Electronics; Martin Palin, Palin Communications (Left to right).

Palin Communications is working with the Taiwan Trade Council in Sydney to promote Taiwan’s global visibility in the health industry through the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ program.

This unique global campaign calls for proposals from Australian organisations, researchers and entrepreneurs that integrate Taiwan’s high-quality health products and holistic solutions – for local benefit.

One element of the project was the management of a Lunch and Learn event in collaboration with the University of NSW Business Insights Institute. It was an opportunity for the UNSW community of academics and researchers to discover how Taiwanese health technologies and expertise can help bring project ideas to life, with three USD30,000 prizes up for grabs (and six free trips to Taiwan for shortlisted submissions).

The Palin Communications team has enjoyed the diversity of this campaign with activities including digital and social advertising, eDM development, telemarketing, media and stakeholder relations and event management.
