Our CEO, Karina Durham, and Associate Director – Client Services, Maya Ivanovic, took Palin Communications to the European stage in June as delegates at the 2025 GlobalCom PR Network Annual Meeting in Lucca, Tuscany.
Karina and Maya were invited to present a keynote with network colleagues from Ireland and France on Disruptive Trends and Challenges: The Healthcare Revolution. They shared their specialist insights and showcased why we continue to be pioneering leaders in the health communications space.
The meeting, themed ‘Lighting our path to success’, focused on navigating the future of the PR industry with purpose and innovation, and unpacked issues facing agencies globally, including:
AI as a game changer in communications
Management, branding strategy, business development, innovation initiatives
PR industry transformation, strategies and alignment.
While Italy in the summer never disappoints, the meeting highlight was being presented with the GlobalCom PR Network (GCPR) Impact Gold Award for our ongoing work to raise awareness of shingles in partnership with GSK. The award was open to more than 80 PR agencies around the world in celebration of campaigns that deliver exceptional results while making a positive social impact.
