Palin Communications has been named as the winner of the Health Industry Hub PR Agency Team of the Year 2024. The awards night was held in Sydney on Wednesday 16 October.
The annual Health Industry Hub Catalysts for Change Awards recognise individuals and organisations that help to drive change in the health system across the entire patient journey.
According to Managing Director Martin Palin, the award acknowledges the agency’s commitment to operating as a high performing team that delivers amazing outcomes for clients.
“As I said on the night, if you are going to work in communications and advocacy, then it’s going to be much more rewarding doing it in a sector where you can improve health and save lives. I know the entire Palin Communications team brings that philosophy to work every day.
“Our clients are incredible and they invite us into some amazing projects – everything from reframing Australia’s attitude to death and dying to promoting new world-first medical breakthroughs. Our clients trust us with their often life-changing developments and launches. We will always be thankful to them for that.
“It honestly is a great sector of PR to work in,” said Martin.
Palin Communications was also a finalist in the PRIME Awards PR Campaign of the Year and the Communications and Public Relations Australia Golden Targets in the Not-for-profit Campaigns of the Year. The NFP recognition was for our work on “Dying to Know Day”, which seeks to educate the Australians on issues related to death, dying and end-of-life planning.
