In August 2025 the Palin Communications team laced up our running shoes to support Voltaren in its new partnership to launch the very first Voltaren City2Surf.
From creating content to coordinating celebrity talent and media interviews, to hitting the pavement while proudly wearing Voltaren colours, our team loved working on this project.
We worked with the teams at Voltaren, the Ironman Group, community-based charities and with celebrities, like Candice Warner, a former Ironwoman Champion, to announce Voltaren’s three-year name sponsorship. The City2Surf is the world’s largest fun run and it represents an amazing opportunity to showcase the important role recovery plays in keeping your body moving and allowing you to find joy in movement.
The earned media campaign for Voltaren generated over 50 editorial stories across print, online and TV and over 11 million opportunities to see key messages. Social media activity generated over 19,000 impressions and more than 400 new followers. The Palin Communications team loves briefs like these, where creativity is essential and the messages combine health and wellness in the context of key cultural and social moments.
